  2. I can only speak for myself but my nighttime dreams are not usually things I wish to actualize since they’re typically anxiety filled nightmarish occurrences. Day dreams or imaginative fantasy or hopeful events are another story. Yet, even those imaginations aren’t things I necessarily expect to happen. Sometimes things we dream for or wish for just don’t happen. The response to this is what’s important. How do we respond and react to unfulfilled wishes or dreams makes all the difference between persevering with continuing the desire and the motivation towards that dream or feeling discouraged and like we failed and that’s just catastrophic and awful. ( it isn’t by the way ) our actions are determined by our commitment to the desired thing we want. Sometimes we can persevere too much in trying to catch that shining star. There’s a balance we can try and reach for instead. “ sometimes you don’t get what you want, but you get what you need” Mick jagger.
